Passing well is a real skill. A thoughtful Charleston can turn a shapeless hand into a strong one, while careless passing can hand a rival exactly what they need.
Pass smart, watch closely
Send away tiles that fit none of your target sections, and be careful what you pass to your left — that’s the neighbor you’re feeding. Watch what comes back to you for clues about what others are collecting. If a certain tile keeps coming around, it may be safe to build with; if the table seems hungry for it, hold or discard it carefully later.
Tip. Stopping the optional second Charleston is a normal, allowed move when your hand is set. Keep it good-natured — a friendly “I’m happy with mine” is all it takes.
