These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "your", "Player" or "Host") and Find My Mahjong, which is owned and operated by Trans-System International Company, of 174 Duke Trail, Weatherford, Texas 76088 ("Find My Mahjong", "we", "us", "our"). Payments are processed by Trans-System International Company and appear on your card statement as TSI - TransSystem International Company 1-254-294-1004. They govern your use of the Find My Mahjong website, mobile applications and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, booking a seat, listing a game or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Find My Mahjong is

Find My Mahjong is a community listing and booking service for mahjong players. Members (we call them "Hosts") post open games, classes and coaching sessions; other members ("Players") search those listings and reserve a seat. Find My Mahjong provides the platform only. We do not organise, supervise, staff, insure or run the games that appear on the Service, and we are not a party to any arrangement between a Host and a Player.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and at least 18 to host a game or list a class. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
The information on your account must be accurate and kept current — in particular the mobile number we use to send booking confirmations, reminders and verification codes.
You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private and tell us promptly at hello@findmymahjong.org if you believe someone else has used it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that is used to harass other members, or that puts the community at risk.

3. Booking a seat

Booking a seat through Find My Mahjong is free. Seats are limited and are allocated in the order they are booked; when a game is full you may join its waitlist and you will be seated automatically, in order, if a spot opens.
Any table fee, venue charge, class tuition or materials cost is set and collected by the Host, not by Find My Mahjong. Ask the Host before you attend.
Please cancel a seat you cannot use. Repeatedly reserving seats and not showing up may result in booking limits on your account.
Hosts may change or cancel a game. We pass along the change as promptly as we can, but we cannot guarantee that a listed game will take place.

4. Hosting a game

If you list a game, class or coaching session you confirm that you have the right to use the venue, that the details you publish (date, time, address, skill level, cost, number of seats) are accurate, and that you will treat the players who book with courtesy. You are solely responsible for the conduct and safety of your event, for any permissions, permits or insurance it requires, and for complying with the rules of the venue you use.

5. Community conduct

Members agree not to:

harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse another member;
post listings that are false, misleading, or that are not genuine mahjong games, classes or coaching;
use the Service for gambling or for any unlawful purpose, or to promote a business unrelated to the mahjong community;
scrape, copy, resell or bulk-download listings or member details, or use the Service to build a competing database;
attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service or to another member's account.

6. Content you post

You keep ownership of the text and images you post. By posting, you grant Find My Mahjong a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. Do not post content you do not have the right to share. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Find My Mahjong name, logo, page designs, text and software are owned by Find My Mahjong and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

Find My Mahjong does not reproduce, distribute or host the official annual card, its hand lists, or any other third-party rules content. Where a game listing refers to a published card, players are expected to obtain their own official copy from its publisher.

7a. Cards — house cards and bringing your own

Find My Mahjong's house cards are our own independently-designed, license-free cards. When you bring your own official card, you supply and acknowledge the copyright in that card; Find My Mahjong never distributes copyrighted cards, stores only the card you provide for your own private use, and the free house card is always available. American Mah Jongg and any official card designs are the property of their respective owners.

The free house card is always available. If you choose to bring your own official card by photographing it, you confirm you have the right to use it and that you — not Find My Mahjong — are responsible for any copyrighted material in it. We store only the card you provide, for your own private use, keep at most one active card per player, and never share a player's card with anyone else.

8. Text messages

Booking confirmations, reminders, waitlist notices, verification codes and password resets may be sent to you by SMS. How that works, how often we send, and how to stop the messages is set out in our SMS / Messaging Policy. Message and data rates may apply.

9. Purchases, memberships, refunds and shipping

9.1 Prices, tax and payment

Prices on the Service are in U.S. dollars. Texas sales tax is added where it applies and is shown before you pay. You can pay by credit or debit card, or with PayPal. Payments are processed by Trans-System International Company. Charges appear on your card statement as TSI - TransSystem International Company 1-254-294-1004. When you use PayPal, including PayPal Pay Later ("Pay in 4"), PayPal's own terms also apply, and any installment plan is between you and PayPal.

Before you pay for a store order you must tick "I agree to the terms & conditions". Your order is accepted when we send your confirmation e-mail. If an item is listed at a clearly wrong price, or is unavailable, we may cancel the order before it ships and refund you in full.

9.2 Memberships

Membership prices are shown on the Membership page and at checkout, plus applicable tax. New members get their first 7 days free.

If you pay by card, your membership renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. If you pay by PayPal, we e-mail you a "pay now" reminder before your renewal date and nothing is charged automatically.

Membership fees are not refundable. Your first 7 days are free, so you can try the Service before you pay. You can cancel at any time from your account; your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and will not renew. We do not refund any part of a membership fee, except where the law requires it.

Issue Reports program. While the program is running, a member whose valid issue reports reach the published threshold receives one year free; if that member has already paid, one free year is added to the end of their paid period.

9.3 Shipping (store orders)

We ship to addresses in the United States. Most orders ship within 3 business days. If a product page shows a different shipping time, that time applies. Shipping charges and the estimated delivery time are shown at checkout.

If we cannot ship your order within the time we stated (or within 30 days, if no time was stated), we will tell you before that time is up. We will give you a new shipping date, or tell you that we cannot give one, and you may cancel the order for a full and prompt refund instead of waiting. If we cannot ship an item at all, we will refund everything you paid for it, including shipping.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers your order. Please check your address before you pay; if a package is returned to us because of an address error, we will refund the item price, less the shipping we paid.

9.4 Returns

You may return an item within 30 days of delivery if it is unopened and still sealed in its original wrapper. An item that has been opened from its original wrapper cannot be returned for a refund unless it arrived damaged or defective. E-mail hello@findmymahjong.org first and we will send you return instructions. You pay the return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective, or we sent you the wrong item. Custom, personalized and engraved items cannot be returned.

9.5 Damaged, defective or wrong items

If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, e-mail us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, including shipping - your choice. We may ask you to return the item at our expense.

9.6 How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 days after we receive a returned item, or within 7 days after we approve a refund that needs no return. Your bank or PayPal may take a few more days to show the credit. For a PayPal Pay Later purchase, PayPal applies the refund to your installment plan.

10. Third-party venues, links and advertising

The Service links to venues, maps, payment providers and other third-party sites, and it carries advertising. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find My Mahjong disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that a game will take place, that a Host or venue is suitable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You attend games at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and belongings.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find My Mahjong will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Find My Mahjong harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, a game you host or attend, content you post, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Force majeure

Neither you nor Find My Mahjong is liable for a failure or delay caused by something outside reasonable control — including severe weather, fire, flood, power or network failure, a hosting or carrier outage, labour dispute, civil unrest, or an act of government.

15. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time by writing to hello@findmymahjong.org. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, if these Terms are breached or if we need to protect the Service or its members. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) will do so.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do we will revise the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give notice on the site or by email or text before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Parker County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

18. Dispute resolution

Before filing any claim, please contact us at hello@findmymahjong.org and give us 30 days to resolve the matter informally — most issues are a misunderstanding about a booking and are settled in a day. If that fails, either of us may bring the claim in the courts named above, or in small claims court where the amount qualifies.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full force.

20. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the SMS / Messaging Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Find My Mahjong about the Service, and replace any earlier understanding on that subject.
