Choosing Your Hand

After the deal you’ll stare at thirteen tiles that probably don’t match anything yet. That’s normal. The skill is spotting where you’re closest, not finding a finished hand.

Aim at a section, not a single hand

Look at whole sections of the card and count what you already have toward each one. Favor options where you hold pairs, Flowers, or jokers, because those give you a head start. Early on, keep two possible hands alive rather than betting everything on one — the Charleston and your first few draws will tell you which way to lean.
